The seniors from ACWC took a trip to Wollongong, where they visited the Chinese Temple in Kiama and the Blowhole.

On Thursday, we had a delightful outing with our wonderful seniors from the Ararat Northern Beaches Group ACWC.

We traveled to Wollongong, where we visited a Chinese temple to celebrate Chinese New Year. It was a significant opportunity to learn about and experience another culture, and to reflect on the values that unite communities.

Given that we are currently in the season of Great Lent, we also took time to contemplate its message of renewal, kindness, and personal growth.

Our journey then continued to the beautiful coastal town of Kiama. We enjoyed lunch, visited the famous Kiama Lighthouse, and shared coffee and homemade sweets while admiring the ocean views.

The most important part was enjoying each other’s company, which was the highlight of the day. 😊
